I purified myself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka…..

Ok, so i really didn’t, But this past weekend was phenomenal, another weekend spent doing something I havn’t done in years. I decided to join my man El-P on a journey that found us in Minneapolis, Minnesota for this years SOUNDSET FESTIVAL. A day of independent Hip-Hop, friends, family and debauchery. Upon arriving to MN and checking into our hotel we were greeted by Mike Relm(Great guy) and the murky musky damp atmosphere of our hotel, The Canterburry Inn. They decided to build an indoor pool without taking the proper measures to build and adequate ventilation system which means our room was 110 degrees with a muggy mist you could actually reach out and grab. Of course our AC was broken as well. The best part is….IT DIDN’T MATTER AT ALL. I was so excited to see some off the dudes that have had a huge influence on me and my band over the years plus we were hellbent on enjoying our Memorial Day weekend. We went straight to the bar and met up with Mr. Dibbs and began a night of of irish car bombs and catching up. There was an amazing cover band called LOOSE CANNON. Jesus, they must’ve played for 6 hours. When the opening chords of  ”I Kissed A Girl” rumbled through the PA, Dibbs felt compelled to grab me, drag me on to the dance floor and slam dance, AWKWARD yet very memorable. A few hours later i retired to our room and melted onto the fold out couch/bed, not before noting the huge blood stains on the mattress ad somehow inside the dresser drawers?!?!?! The next morning I peeled myself off of the couch, got fresh and we headed over to the show….the following pictures document some of what went down in Minnesota this past weekend, I’ve been bringing my camera’s everywhere i go, getting pretty good too I might add!!!
