I'm thinking of getting metal legs....

I woke up in a church in my drawls 
with a dark figure standing at the pulpit
looked down at my hands, both bloody
i had to step back like goddamn, this is some bullshit
preacher, preacher
I got amnesia
I fell to my knees and put my head in my palms
and began to cry not even knowing why.
I started thinking, this is probably hell.
For all the bible pages used for the wrong purpose
whoever said the new testament was worthless?
Lies burn slow if you roll’em right
Just the same as fly’s stop buzzin if you hold’em tight
Instinct kicked in either fight or flight
scatterbrained, i hopped on the last reality bound train
just to wake up confused, sweaty and breathing heavy
it was only 5 minutes
I closed my eyes for 5 fucking minutes
it felt like hours
i can’t sleep until the bus stops in the morning
mourning is the worst when your constantly touring….Matthew I miss you. Superman, when will it stop? When we realize we’re not invincible? When will we begin to feel again? Or feel safe enough to feel. I tell everyone I love “I LOVE YOU” as much as I can. I never told you enough………
